St. Joseph School, established in 1885 by German immigrants, has remained dedicated to fostering faith, knowledge, and service to God and community. The school’s early years were led by German schoolmasters, followed by Dominican Sisters from Great Bend in the early 1900s. In 1911, the Sisters Adorers of the Blood of Christ from Wichita took over operations, serving faithfully until 2003. Today, the school operates from its historic 1926 building and is staffed by fully licensed teachers, continuing its mission of academic excellence and spiritual growth.
