Ellinwood Packing Plant Inc. has proudly served Central and Western Kansas for over 40 years. Established in 1977 as a small custom processor with just five employees, the company has grown significantly, undergoing six expansions and now employing more than 15 people. In addition to custom processing, Ellinwood Packing specializes in locally raised beef and pork, available for both retail and wholesale customers. Wholesale deliveries began in 1980, broadening the company’s reach. Its largest expansion in 2003 introduced a modern retail store and upgraded processing and storage facilities, featuring advanced cooling systems to ensure product quality.
