​KPP Energy is a municipal energy agency that provides reliable, affordable electricity and innovative energy solutions to its 24 member communities. A not-for-profit, quasi-municipal organization owned by its member cities, KPP Energy was originally formed as Kansas Power Pool in 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Established under Kansas statutes, the agency was created to take collective action to preserve and invest in member energy facilities and to meet the shared energy and transmission needs of its communities in the most efficient manner possible. That foundational mission continues today, strengthened by the addition of innovative energy and member services that support long-term sustainability and success.
