As a way of thanking our amazing members, we started a new member promotion called 'FRONT DOOR FRIDAYS'!

These businesses are good citizens of our community and an excellent resource if you need their services. We appreciate our chamber members and are proud to show off their ‘front doors’ every Friday.

If you are interested in joining more than 100 businesses and organizations in Ellinwood and the surrounding area, visit our website at ellinwoodchamber.com to learn more about membership in the chamber and how we can grow our community together!

The Ellinwood Garden Club, established in 1961, has as its mission the “beautification of Ellinwood”.  It is a civic group of men and women who have also participated in local events such as parades, garden tours, and seasonal events.  Members meet at local venues or at a member’s home on the second Wednesday of the month from January through June and September through December.

The club's main fundraiser is the annual quilt drawing, usually held immediately following the After Harvest Festival Parade in July.  However, this year, 2020, the club will look to another venue-opportunity to sell tickets or accept donations for their quilt drawing.  We have acquired a beautiful Batik fabric patchwork quilt, 66" x 60", from Dana Burroughs Pfanensteil (daughter of member Mildred Burroughs) for the drawing . . . to be announced at a later date.

The Garden Club established the metal wheat-shock sculptures in 1997, re-established the Memorial Rose Garden 2018, and has maintained the Main Street planter boxes for many seasons (ï»żWe've also decorated them for Christmas).  These projects have been possible with the continued tremendous support the club receives from memorials, our annual fundraiser, donations from club members and other Ellinwood individuals, and help from the City of Ellinwood.

Current Garden Club members are Mildred Burroughs, Gayle Christie, Marla Habiger, Glenda Heinz, Marianne Isern, Rosie Joiner, Renee Miller, Ruth Peters, Jo Ann Roth, Linda Sherman, June Stephens, Debbie Tillotson, and Mike Westerman.

When you see these folks around town, be sure to thank them for everything they do for our community!

Thank you, Ellinwood Garden Club, for being apart of our Chamber Family! Your membership investment helps not only grow your organization but for the Chamber to provide programs & resources for our area. Thank you!
