Holiday Date Night in Ellinwood

United Way of Central Kansas has partnered with Holy Smokes BBQ and the American Legion to bring Holiday Date Night to Ellinwood on December 2nd from 5:00-8:00!

For just $15 per person, you and your significant other can enjoy a delicious meal which includes a choice of 3 meats (Pork Chops, Ribs, or ¼ Chicken) along with Cheesy Potatoes, Green Beans, and Garlic Bread. Then head over to the cash bar before playing from a selection of games that UWCK will provide. There will be decks of cards for those who want to play Poker or Gin Rummy, Cards Against Humanity, Cranium, Dominos, Phase 10, and 5 Second Rule. There will also be a round or two of Backwards Bingo. Never heard of it? For those that want to participate, you can purchase a Bingo Card for $5 for the night. When the game starts, everyone with a card stands up. If your number is called, take a seat and you are out of the game. The last person standing gets a cash prize!

Throughout the evening you will also be able to purchase two different types of Raffle Tickets. You can Split the Pot with UWCK in our 50/50 Raffle or you can try for one of our amazing Raffle items that will be available for you to choose from. Raffle Items include 4 K-State Basketball Tickets, including Parking Pass and access to the Legends room for the game on January 10th against OSU donated by David & Sherri Marmie, a custom made Winter Wreath donated by Tanya & Brian Staats, and a Christmas Stay-Cation donated by Best Western Angus Inn and Cornerstone Interiors (Randy & Debbie Deutsch).

This night is a great way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season and enjoy a night with friends while supporting United Way of Central Kansas. Come out and see us for a night of great food, drinks, company, and fun!
