Ellinwood Grade school is seeking donations for PBIS to reward students

EGS Positive Behavior Incentive System (PBIS) will reward students for doing the right thing and exceeding the expectations of SOAR and the 6 Pillars of Character. The students can be recognized by any staff member in the building. Rewards will be given at the end of each 9 weeks. It is a tiered reward system. Every student has the ability to obtain leveled rewards based on the number of positive recognitions. At the end of the year, every student who has earned an Eagle Buck will have his/her name put in a hopper for a chance to win a large prize.

Their PBIS system will help to create a positive atmosphere within their building for exceeding expected behaviors. This will help to promote responsible citizens within the Ellinwood community and beyond.

The long-term effect is our students will continue through high school and adult life to be responsible and respectful even when no one is watching.

The Grade School would willingly take any prizes, gift cards, or money anyone is able to donate to their new PBIS system. They believe this will be a terrific thing for our school/kids. If any businesses are willing to donate money a check can be made out to EGS and in the memo line write PBIS Student Success.

If you have any questions please give me a call here at school at 564-2750 and ask for Mrs. Fiest or Mrs. Bouray.
