Welcome our 2020 New Ellinwood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors!

The Ellinwood Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce two new slate of members to the Chamber Board of Directors and one member renewing for a 2nd 3 year term!

Carrie Merritt

Carrie has been a resident of Ellinwood for 2 years. She is a Texas Native but has relocated to Ellinwood to be near her husband’s family.

Carrie and her husband Craig have 2 teenage boys. Homeschooling and homemaking are her full time job and working at Community Bank of the Midwest is her part time job. Any free time is spent painting barn quilts, reading, antiquing, and spending time with her family.

Carrie is actively involved in the community preserving our heritage and small town life.

Connie Roth

Connie has lived in Ellinwood since 1964. She is a 1968 graduate of Ellinwood High School. Connie is married to John Roth and they farm east of Ellinwood. Both Connie and John’s children are graduates of EHS.

Connie was an aerobics instructor in Ellinwood for 16 years and then worked as a receptionist for Animal Care Hospital in Great Bend for the following 17 years.

During their 52 years of marriage, Connie has enjoyed helping on the farm in her spare time. She enjoys gardening, antiquing, yoga, and spending time with friends.

Meagan Barnett

Meagan grew up and spent all her life in Great Bend until last fall when her family decided to move to Ellinwood. Meagan and her husband Jacob bought a home here in December 2018 to renovate as their new family home and finally moved over in July of this year. They have 2 children, both boys who are always keeping them happily busy.

Meagan and her family moved to Ellinwood for convenience of their jobs, Meagan is working as a nurse at Azria Woodhaven in Ellinwood and her husband working near Bushton. They both really enjoy living here and being a part of the community so far and look forward to many more years.
