When did your business startup?

I have lived in Ellinwood all of my life. I found out the Wolf Building was coming up for sale in 2013 and was compelled to make sure it was preserved and standing for many years to come!

What makes your business unique?

We do many things at the Wolf Hotel. We are Ellinwood's only hotel, we hold private events, are home of the Ellinwood Underground tours, all of which take place in a neat historic building with lots of character.

Briefly describe your career path.

Before taking a leap of faith by purchasing the Wolf Building, I worked in medical records at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Never did I know I would be buying a nearly 125-year- old building and in the place I am today. I have learned a lot about the necessity of tourism and I have learned a lot of neat history of the town we call home.

What do you like to do in your free time in Ellinwood?

Free time is a rare commodity, but in the rare occasions, I enjoy simple, easy going things like watching movies with my son.
