Golden Belt Community Foundation Giving Tuesday

November 2017

Tuesday, November 28th

As a Giving Tuesday champion, Golden Belt Community Foundation inspires giving from all ages; and, we’ve set a goal to reach 1,000 donors this year! GBCF is a catalyst for generosity in the Golden Belt area and this Giving Tuesday, November 28th, we again are bringing together philanthropists to shape our community’s future.

Local Impact Your gift stays right here helping local charities with long-term funding needs. GBCF stands strong behind the nonprofits that serve our area. Endowments provide a permanent source of continual funding from invested capital, meaning the gift you give today leaves a legacy forever.

There are three ways to participate in the month-long campaign:

1) Give online at:

2) Give in person at one of our giving locations November 28th

3) Give at the #GivingTuesday celebration with us!

New for 2017, every elementary school in Barton, Pawnee, Rush, and Stafford counties that participate in our giving event is eligible for a $500 classroom mini grant. This is an opportunity for kids and their families to participate in the generosity of the season. GBCF will award one $500 grant to every elementary school that participates, going to the classroom that donates the most dollars on Giving Tuesday.

The 2017 event advisory committee includes: Andrea Bauer, Julie Mazouch, and Jessica Milsap. Giving Tuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is a global day of giving that makes a local impact.
