Obituaries

An index is being created by Mary Loewenthal here in Ellinwood, Kansas. Mary indexes obituaries for three different newspapers on the Obituary Daily Times web site and saw a need to establish an index for the obituaries found in the Ellinwood Advocate, Ellinwood Express, and The Ellinwood Leader. This project is in the making and will continue until all back issues are reviewed and listed and will be kept up to date with current obituaries. Mary asks that if you detect an error or have additional information for entries, please contact her. You may visit the Ellinwood School/Community Library and research the papers on microfilm yourself or you may request Mary to find the obituary, make a copy of it, and send it to you for a $5.00 fee.
